Essie #720 Turquoise & Caicos - Green and Teal's Kid? :D

After a friend commented that she loves anything green, I started to pay attention to green nail polishes (arg, too easily swayed!). Here is a "green" that I have recently acquired and totally in love! It is Essie #720 Turquoise & Caicos.

I tried to do one coat at first. It was really more like 1.5 coats since I am still new to nail polish and... I always swap back and forth in segments ^O^. You can see my white nail part haha.

After my first coat cooled down, I applied another coat. Now it looks a lot better. I love this color. It is like teal and green's kid! (^__^)

Kleancolor Nail Polish #158 Metallic Pink - Too Hot for Me!

Kleancolor nail polish #158 Metallic Pink

This color is too hot for me LOL! It looks gorgeous and very adventurous. I don't remember how many shades I used, but I think it was like 1 or 2. I really love it when you don't have to brush too many layers to reach an awesome result.

Warning though... this color is really strong. So make sure you put a base coat. I did my nail polish without a base coat (I didn't even know a base coat is needed for nail polish back then T.T") and it left me pinkish stain. Thank goodness I like pink haha. So the stain wasn't too bad. Check my future post about my nail polish stain removing (it was a failure just so you know -_-).

So my lesson learned...

• Kleancolor #158 Metallic Pink is hot! (^_^)
• Remember to use base coat for strong colors (or just any nail polishing!)
